A brief history of Corous Steel( will post more abt it)
Corus was formed on 6th October 1999 through the merger of British Steel and Koninklijke Hoogovens.The Corus logo is a symbol of confidence and a mark of quality and service. The name Corus was selected to differentiate the company from competitors with a modern and distinctive approach supported by a strong visual identity. British Steel Corporation was formed by bringing 90% of British Steelmaking into public ownership, through privatisation in 1987, until the formation of Corus in 1999.
