Johnson's Toilet and Baby powder
In 1890, Johnson & Johnson received a letter from a physician complaining about skin irritation from certain medicated plasters of J&J, Fred kilmer the company's then director of research responded by sending a packet of soothing Italian talc to apply on the skin. Johnson & Johnson soon named the product as" Johnson's Toilet and Baby Powder"
